1. Mount Everest

It was earlier known as Peak XV but later it was renamed after Sir George Everest. There is no doubt that there are many travelers who come from different parts of the world to checkout Mt. K2 also known as the Savage Mountain is located between Pakistan and China border and it ranks second after Mt. Everest. One of the reasons why people normally claim that K2 falls in Pakistan is because the climb is easier from Pakistani side compare to the steep climb from China side which is really dangerous. Hence, most adventurers and climbers come to Pakistan for climbing K2. It is also known as the mountain with highest fatality rate. Till this day no one has ever tried to climb K2 during winter season. The height of the mountain is 8611 meters or 28,251 feet from the sea level. K2 lies in the Karokaram Range and one of the main reasons why it is dangerous to climb K2 is because it has steep slope on all sides which makes it risky during all weather conditions. Hence, it has been named as Savage Mountain.
3. Kanchenjunga
If you are still in Nepal adoring Mount Everest, you can take some time to watch the third highest mountain in the world, known as Kanchenjunga. The height of this mountain is 8586 meter and 28,169 feet. This peak is normally considered sacred by the people in Nepal and in connected parts of India and it means The Five Treasures of Snow or Mountain of Offerings. Interestingly, it was considered as the highest mountain in the world till 1852, but later on the British General Trigonometric Survey decided that Mount Everest was the highest of all. If you are interested in taking some mind-blowing pictures of Kanchenjunga then you should go to Darjeeling in India as you get the best view of this mountain from there. It is remotely located and therefore not many trekkers prefer to climb it which is why it still has that divine look because it is still untouched. Although, trekkers have the permission to climb it but many trekkers try to look for other peaks because it takes many days to reach at the base of this mountain.
